Stripe is your account, in your business's name. We don't hold your customer money or your account.
Before the build day
You set up the Stripe account. If you don't have one, create it at stripe.com — takes about 20 minutes. Send us the publishable key (starts with pk_...) ahead of time, and a restricted API key with the permissions we need (we'll specify which ones).
During the build day We wire Stripe into your product: products, prices, checkout, subscription logic, customer portal, webhooks. We test with test-mode keys before flipping to live.
At handover
- All Stripe configuration is documented in your
HANDOVER.md. - You receive a list of every product, price, and webhook we created.
- We're removed from your Stripe account. You're the only one with access.
- You go to live mode when your business is verified by Stripe (their KYC, not ours).
If Stripe verification stalls your launch, that's outside our control — the product goes live, payments wait for verification.
